I legit love this song! I mean, it’s parody sure, but it’s exactly the kind of music I grew up listening too and it was a total blast to write and sing! (Granted I wasn’t alive in the 80s, but my parents raised me right gosh darn it!)

HEWWO DDR’s (Dedicated Description Readers)!
Boy oh boy was this fun to do! There’s this abandoned condo under construction on the beach in Gulfport and the first time I saw it, I knew it’d be the perfect place for a music video. I don’t think I was wrong! We actually went and bought the clothes about half an hour before the shoot. I’ve got some retro clothes, but nothing like that! XP
Anyway, of course we wanted this to be cheezy, but I actually think we fell short of the mark a bit with this one… Here is the video this was inspired by… Prepare to cringe and jam at the same time!
So I think we’re gonna do one more of these next week (Sam Smith, if we don’t get too busy) and then I’ll be heading back to AZ for a while. We’re also working on few original tracks that are «themeless» at the moment. Planning to finish those soon, but it can be hard to release songs like that. Context sometimes helps a video gain traction online, but it can also totally fall flat (like Timberpond did)… Oh well, this is all trial and error here. What really matters is that we’re having fun, and we certainly are! XD
