The Miss Universe pageant have crowned its new winner at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters passed the crown to Miss Philippines Catriona Gray at the end of the event.
Contestants who made it to the Top 10 finalists are South Africa, Vietnam, Venezuela, Philippines, Costa Rica, Curacao, Nepal, Canada, Thailand and Puerto Rico.
The Top 5 are Puerto Rico, Vietnam, Philippines, South Africa and Venezuela.
The winner of Miss Universe 2018 will fulfill her duty traveling around the world to represent the Miss Universe Organization and its various causes.
Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant that is run by the Miss Universe Organization. It is one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world. It is now owned and managed by WME/IMG talent agency.
94 contestants from around the world will compete this year for the coveted crown.
The Miss Universe 2018 pageant will be broadcast live on Fox, Azteca and in hundreds of local television networks around the world.
The prestigious event is also available to watch online via the official Miss Universe live streaming channel on Youtube.
Event presenters are Steve Harvey and Ashley Graham plus a performance from guest artist Neyo.
