The Jell-O Wobz Presents: Play With JELL-O | FOOD HACKS FOR KIDS



On this episode of Food Hacks For Kids, presented by The Jell-O Wobz, Whitley will be making her favorite Jell-O Wobz out of objects you can find in your kitchen!

MEG RECIPE
Prep Time: 10 min. | Total Time: 4 hours 5 min. (incl. freezing) | Makes: 1 Meg

What You Need
— 2 pkg. (6 oz. each) JELL-O Edible Bricks Gelatin
— 2-1/2 cups boiling water
— 2 candy eyes

Make It
— COVER spout of 1-cup liquid measuring cup with heavy tape. Spray inside of cup with cooking spray.
— ADD gelatin mixes to boiling water; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved.
— POUR into prepared measuring cup, adding enough gelatin to completely fill cup. Discard any remaining gelatin.
— FREEZE 4 hours or until firm.
— RUN knife around inside edge of measuring cup to loosen gelatin. Unmold onto plate. Add candy eyes, pressing lightly into gelatin to secure.
THAT’S it! It’s time to play!

BUCKET RECIPE
Prep Time: 10 min. | Total Time: 8 hours 5 min. (incl. freezing) | Makes:1 Bucket

What You Need
— 4 pkg. (6 oz. each) JELL-O Edible Ocean Gelatin
— 1-1/4 qt. (5 cups) boiling water
— 1/2 cup blueberries
— 1/2 cup gummy candies

Make It
— SPRAY small clean plastic bucket with cooking spray
— ADD gelatin mixes to boiling water; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Pour into prepared bucket. Discard any remaining gelatin.
— STIR in blueberries and gummy candies.
— FREEZE 8 hours or until firm.
— RUN knife around inside edge of bucket to loosen gelatin. Unmold onto plate.
THAT’S it! It’s time to play!

WALTER RECIPE
Prep Time: 10 min. | Total Time: 4 hours 10 min. (incl. freezing) | Makes: 1 Walter

What You Need
— 1 plastic gloves
— 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Grape Flavor Gelatin
— 1-1/4 cups boiling water

Make It
— RINSE out clean rubber glove with water. Tie knot in thumb of glove. Stack cups on top of of 2 cornstarch containers. Place wire cooling rack on tops of cups. Next, attach 2 binder clips to drying rack. (These binder clips will help hang the glove.)
— ADD gelatin mixes to boiling water; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Cool slightly.
— HANG glove from wire rack, using clips to attach glove to rungs of rack so that the glove stays opened. Carefully pour gelatin into glove. (Ask a grownup to help with this since the gelatin is hot.) Remove glove from wire rack. Use rubber band to securely close opening at top of glove. Place in shallow pan.
— FREEZE 4 hours or until firm. Use scissors to cut glove off gelatin. Fill punch bowl with clear soda and ice. Add Walter just before serving.
