I started this channel on YouTube almost 3 years back where I uploaded pranks/social experiments. The concept of pranks started off with absolutely harmless pranks where one would pull a mischievous act on someone else. Pranks on YouTube quickly got very famous and became one of the most famous genres of content on YouTube. Lots of new prank channels started coming into existence and the competition got only tougher and tougher. As the competition got tougher, lots and I mean lots of the bigger, more famous prank channels started staging their pranks with paid actors so they could control their reactions and get viral videos out of them. And there were many other prank channels that kept doing completely ridiculous things(in the name of pranks) which weren’t even pranks anymore, but would retaliate with «it’s just a prank, bro» when the subject/stranger got aggressive. The whole concept of pranks is completely fucked up on YouTube right now, with all sorts of «gone sexual» «gone wrong in the hood» pranks and the bigger prank channels put up all sorts of fake videos. In the midst of all of this, pranksters like myself(my channel) which maintain ONLY real reactions and have never staged even one video get all the hatred from all the bigger channels staging videos. People online make the fake pranks go viral, and then spread hatred amongst the community of real pranksters out there whose videos don’t get the same amount of visibility as the bigger prank channels with fake videos.
It’s time to call these fake pranksters out. Share this video with everyone, tweet this out to the fake pranksters out there, and let them know we won’t let them fuck the community up any more. Boycott the phony pranksters, support the real!
