This is a podcast that I did with renowned comedian Punit Pania. Here, we talk about how the comedy scene started in India in general and Pune in particular. We discuss the origin stories of Standup Fever and Chalta Hai comedy.
Punit is the founder of Chalta Hai Comedy. He is a philosopher at heart. He is Kandivali’s most eligible bachelor. The podcast also features the extremely good looking eye candy comedian, Abhishek Kulkarni. He works with the very famouse SNG comedy that features other big names like Varun Thakur, Karan Talwar, Aaadar Malik, Neville Shah and Kautuk Srivastava. Their podcast ‘The Big Question’ is one of the best podcasts in the Indian podcasting scene. The podcast also features Sagar Dolli, an upcoming comedian from Pune who also works a producer and is doing great stuff promoting the Pune scene along with his colleague and fellow comedian, Drona Tewari. Together they run this initiative called, First Floor Underground Comedy or FFU comedy if you are part of that generation who does this to long names.
