Today I got my Supra transmission cleaned up and the bell housing bead blasted.
I wanted to share my method of cleaning my engines and transmissions with you guys.
While I prefer Soda blasting for all aluminum engine parts sometimes you have to take it outside and use chemicals and water.
Here is a small slightly detailed DIY of how to get your beat up and dirty swap parts clean again.
You guys have seen tons of Youtubers stuff swap motors into their cars. From Adam LZ and the 1jz to Tj Hunt and his 2J we have seen people stuff engines in and most of the time they are filthy and the cleaning process that they use is…well…weak! They barely even get them clean. Hopefully you guys follow in this direction instead.
