Vijayraj Azhagarswami (born 25 August 1952),[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] publicly known by his stage name Vijayakanth, is an Indian politician and former film actor. He was the Leader of the Opposition of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Prior to becoming a politician, he was a film actor in Tamil cinema from 1979 to 2018. He is the founder and leader of the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam and served as a Member of Legislative Assembly representing the constituency of Rishivandiyam.
Ambika (born 24 May 1962) is an Indian film actress known for her works predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada films. She also did a few Telugu and English films. She was one of the top south Indian heroines for a decade from 1978 to 1989. Her younger sister Radha, was also an actress. They acted together in a number of south Indian films and during the peak of their careers, they owned a movie studio called «ARS Studios». In 2013 they converted ARS Studios to a hotel complex.

Together they have formed a comic pair in many Tamil films and was known as the Laurel and hardy of Tamil Cinema.[12] Recently, Senthil has started acting in Tamil tele-serials.
