22-year-old University of South Carolina student Hayley King has been arrested after her roommates captured hidden camera footage of her spitting in their leftover food, and pouring Windex into food that had been left in the fridge.
Her roommates weren’t getting along with King, so they set up a hidden camera in the kitchen to see what she was doing when she was home alone. One of the roommates reportedly ate the contaminated food unknowingly, and afterward she claims to have suffered physically.
King has confessed to the crimes she was charged with including unlawful, malicious tampering with human drug product or food, which carries a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
