Good comedy is music to the ears of most, and in the case of Aadar Malik, quite literally so. One of the pioneers of musical comedy in India, Aadar effortlessly weaves his humour into his original compositions and has earned himself a position at the forefront of Indian comedy. A member of SnG Comedy, he shot to fame with innuendo ridden songs such as “She called me Bhaiyya” and “Oh my Goat” and since then, despite musical comedy being a niche within a niche, he has successfully garnered millions of views on his Youtube videos. When asked why he chose music as his medium, he jokingly responds, “I am Anu Malik’s nephew yaar, it’s in my blood”. Watch this TEDx talk and be thoroughly entertained by India’s most famous musical comedian If you’re an avid fan of stand-up comedy, there’s a chance you’re well aware of Aadar Malik.
