We are returning this year with all new prank war videos with a new series we are going to call Family Pranks. On these episodes you will find a huge prank war going on between my wife and I as well as our children. I’m sure you will even get to see videos of our kids getting us back as they all know how to operate a cellphone these days. But, enough about the new series, what about this new video? Well, we wanted to do the old classic where you plastic wrap a doorway and wait for an unsuspecting victim to walk into it…but there was one slight problem. I didn’t have any plastic wrap. What I did have was a bunch of left over tape from Christmas Tha was crystal clear and would be perfect for what we were trying to pull off. I pulled the tape out of the Christmas drawer and began taping across the doorway in 4-5 different spots and heights. I wanted to make sure we had good contact as he crashed into the invisible barrier of tape. The setup for the prank was very simple. Our son was laying down in his bed going to sleep for school in the morning. We got the door all taped up, set up the cameras and it was go time. I had my wife yell out to him like something was wrong as I ran into his room and told him the car was on fire out front. He jumped out of his bed quicker than he ever would if I was telling him to do something else lol, and as he did he ran straight for the trap. About ten steps into his Flash Gordon style run, he was greeted in the face with a bear hug of tape. He knew instantly that he had been pranked as he screams out «Dave»…but what came next took the cake. Unexpected, he screams «I hate this guy!» All said in done, he knows it’s all in humor and he said he will be getting us back twice for it since my wife and I were both in on the prank. I guess I will be sleeping with one eye open for awhile.
